William Ruby Obituary

Ruby, William "Bill"

Born January 25 1942. Left our world March 15th 2022 to be in heaven with his loving wife of over 53 years Camille and his beloved daughter Natalie. He was beyond a hero and true daddy's girl to Nicole Kehoe. Loved much by son-in law Dave Kehoe, dear granddaughter and fishing buddy Taylor Ann, grandson Seth and sister-in-law Cheryl Krueger. Mr. Ruby was initiated in 1961 and started working at Wallace Press. He was the instructor for Lithographic Stripping at 'The Chicago Graphic Arts Institute' for many years. He was elected Business Representative of Local 458M in January of 1994 and served until his retirement in December of 2001. Bill has been part of the Fishing Party Committee Local 458M, as their chairman since the early '60s until 2018. He loved being around his dear fishing buddies (of many years) with a beer in hand and a story to tell. He was known for his witty sense of humor and his boisterous laughter.

You will never ever be forgotten "Ruby" CHEERS!!!

Rest In Peace "Landsman". You are greatly missed in our favorite watering holes. Bill was such a nice and easy going guy who always had a couple good fishing stories and talked about the good old days. Keep the "Rolling Rock" rolling and see you when I get there
