William Pegues Obituary

Pegues, Mr. William E. Age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 25, 2014 at approximately 6:03 p.m. at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima, OH. He was born on August 11, 1924 in Holly Springs, Mississippi to Bishop Porter and Claudia Mae Glass. Both parents preceded him in death. Mr. Pegues retired as a self-employed chauffer and was a veteran of the United States Navy. In 2009 he united with Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Lima, OH. He leaves to cherish his precious memory two daughters, Elmer Dean Thompson (Robert L.) of Lima, OH and Claudia Mae Pegues of Lagrange, IL. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Tiffany C. Jones. Services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at J. F. Brittenum & Son Funeral Home in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
