To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I just found out today...and it saddens me deeply. Billy was such a nice and genuine person, and his darn smile was great. I have so many memories from growing up of running around the Nolan house with Staci and Billy, and sitting at the kitchen table with Mrs. Nolan, Billy and Staci, all making fun of each other and laughing all day. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

BamBam,
Though I may never understand why God chose for you to leave us so soon, I take comfort in knowing that you will always be looking down, watching over us. You were my best friend for most of our childhood. You were the one person who could always make me laugh and watched out for me when we were on the field together.
I remember when you used to introduce me to your friends... "This is my cousin..." you would always say and my response would always be "no we are not." Back then I used to correct you because you were more than just "family", you were my childhood crush. You were the one friend I always knew I could count on. As we got older and we grew apart, I began to introduce you as my "cousin" to my friends. Though the childhood crush faded, the love never did. You are one of the best friends I have ever had. I consider myself one of the luckiest people to have known and been a part of you like.
You are my BamBam. I will love, miss, and cherish you for the rest of my life.

Dear Billy, Staci, Mr & Mrs Nolan,

I grew up with Randy and was introduced to Billy and his big smile and fun personality. We played hockey many late nights on the ponds, TP baseball and most of all floor hockey - me stuck on the "ducks" or something and always feared playing Billy and the "blue team" (or wings?) that always dominated the league. You got your own wings now kid. I hope that your family and friends are surrounded by love and support at this time and I will tell my sister to introduce herself, she'll show you around.

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
The sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

Peace Bro.

To the Nolan Family:
We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. My brother introduced us to Bill a few years ago. One of the best memories we have of Bill was our trip to Puerto Vallarta, where he joined our family for the vacation. His smile and sense of humor always drew a crowd, even in Mexico with a crowd of starngers. We had a great time on that vacation - and we will never forget what a great person Bill was. We were fortunate to have him as a friend.

Nolan/Scapardine family,
May God give you strength in this most difficult time. I met Billy through his sister Staci. She and her husband used to live across the street from me. I did not know him well but everytime I saw him at his sister's house or at one of his nephew's birthday parties, he made you laugh! The last time I saw him was at his nephew Jacob's birthday party. We talked about the concerts that were held at the World Theatre over the summer. He worked all the concerts there and I would see him there sometimes. I truly will remember him smiling and goofing around with his nephew, Jacob. Billy, a true kid at heart, you will not be forgotten!! Staci, words alone cannot comfort but hopefully the great memories of your brother Billy will live on forever. If there is anything at all that you need, me, Dawn and the kids will be there for you.

Nolan Family my deepest condolences and sympathy for your loss. I was so saddened and shocked to hear the news about Bill. My last memory of him just two short weeks ago will be one that I will never forget. We ran into each other in the last place I thought I'd see him. He looked over at me stuck out his tongue, smiled and waved. As always he was being goofy! It seemed like forever since I had last seen him and I now know why we ran into each other that day. I will always remember Bill as many of you will also, as a caring, outgoing, sarcastic, funny and a all around loveable guy. There will never be a day that Bill is not thought about. It is such a shame that a beautiful life was taken so suddenly. We were all truly blessed to have such an amazing guy touch our lives threw out the years. He will forever be missed! May all of your unforgettable memories of Bill keep him alive in your hearts and bring you comfort in the days ahead as I know they will in mine. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Nolan family and friends of Bill. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Bill ... You will never be forgotten! Love ya Billy!

It's difficult to compose a posting without sounding redundant. That's because Billy meant so many positive things to so many people. To my brother, Ray and I he was nothing short of a younger brother. Always up for some mischief or good-natured fun, Billy possessed an uncanny ability to brighten up a room.

For the past ten years, Billy, Ray, and I were like the "three amigos". In good times and bad, we had each others backs, regardless of the circumstances. His good-nature, creativity, humor, loyalty, and love was what made him one of my very best friends. Although our time together seemed so short, his impact on my life will last forever.

Dear Nolan Family:
We would like to offer you our deepest sympathies. It is hard to understand why we lose those we love too soon. May you be comforted in knowing that when God called Billy to come Home it was all part of His Greater Plan. Billy was a great neighbor, and he will be truly missed! If you need anything please let us know.

Billy's Parents:
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. I did not know Billy, but I too just recently lost my son Todd, age 32, suddenly and I share in your sorrow. If you ever need someone to talk to, I am here for you. May your memories give you some comfort. May God be with you.
