WWII, beloved husband of the late Tania, loving father of Stephen Jr. (Maryanne), David (Linda) and Philip (Marego), fond grandfather of Judi (Jeff) Schutter, Stephen P., Karyn, David Jr. (Lori), Andrew, Adam and Peter, great-grandfather of Abigail and Kayla Schutter and Lindsey Wanaski, dear brother of Adam (Helen) Wanaski, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of RIMAS Branch #1 and American Legion. Funeral service Thursday, 11 a.m., at Rago Brothers Norridge Chapels, (Kiersch-DeStefano Funeral Directors), 7751 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Panachyda (Wake Service) at 7:30 p.m. 773-237-2300 or 773-276-7800
