So sorry to just hear of Bob's passing. We were boating friends and neighbors in Portage for many years. We'll remember the better times and sunshining days at Lake Michigan with him.

Sandy & Chuck, Judy, Deborah, and all the family...Please accept my sincere condolences. Bob was my close friend growing up on the Drive and for many many years. At 12, we sneaked cigarettes behind the boathouse at Black Rocks, caught snakes, bike raced around Jackson Park and did to many things together to remember here. I remember him as always smiling, laughing, and happy. I picked up with him after 30+ years in 1998 when I moved back to Chicago. Got together several times and it was like the old days except we both were 55 years older. I will not be able to attend his service, but will keep you and him in my memory and my prayers. Love to you all. Steve Dolniak

Dear Robert's Family:
Just a quick note to tell you about the fond memories that I had with your Dad. One of the kindest people that I have ever met. We went out a few times as friends do we talked a little about your Mom he always said I will love her till I go. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to meet him. Sorry for your loss, he never told me he was ill:(
