Bob is fondly remembered. Condolences to the family.

Dear Hord Family,
Many in my family had the pleasure of working with the Hord Family at Andrew Corp. I'm sorry this comes so late but with no less heartfelt condolences for your loss.

It's been many years since we've had contact but I remember Bob and your family often and was saddened to hear of your loss.

Mrs Juanita, Bob, and Aileen,

I am heartbroken as I know you all are. Mr. Bob was very good and kind to me, and I am so sorry to hear of his death. Though I've not seen you all much over the past many years, you have been in my thoughts often.

Mr. Bob was great man, and I do have great memories of him.

Grandpa, I love the way you always made everyone around you laugh and could carry on about anything. Thank you for letting me talk to you about anything and giving me good advice. I'm going to miss being called "Whitey" and standing up in front of you to read "The Fox and the Bear" every time you asked. I'm going to miss helping you with your stamp collection. I also loved watching you and Grandma make faces at eachother and then hearing you say you loved her. You always put a smile on my face and I thank you for that. I don't think I ever got to thank you for being such a wonderful Grandpa. I miss you tons and I love you more than anything and I'd like for you to know that.

I will miss you Grandpa Hord! You called me "Mooner" because my face was round like the moon. I thought of many nicknames for you in return, but none as perfect as "grandpa". Your spirit encouraged me to never be shy. Your love made my life complete. I'm so proud to be your granddaughter! oxo

Aileen and Family, I'm sorry to here about your Dad's passing. Mr. Hord was always a great guy with terrific stories and a good sense of humor. I always enjoyed his company.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Hord has been a very kind and generous man, He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Today we all lost a good friend. For it was his love of life that inspired so many to be better people. His humor that made us laugh for hours, his wisdom that kept up wanting to know more and his kindness that showed how much he cared.
His legacy will always live on in the people he has touched thoughout his wonderful life.
Thank you Bob for all the good you have done in this world. You were truly a great person!

Grandpa, I love you and miss you. You will always be in my heart. I will miss that you could always make me laugh, and we always had something to talk about. I will miss our weekly lunches when you were in Aiken, and all the times we spent together throughout my life. You were loved by everyone who met you. I love you.

As former Andrew corporation employees in Denton we wamted to let you know how saddened we are about the loss of Bob. Part of the reason we liked working at Andrew had to do with the family members which to us was largely Bob. He was always kind,had a great sense of humor and knew how to make everyone feel thier contribution was important. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during these difficult times.

A great man who had a great journey with another yet to come. "Toledo's" ability to relate to the less fortunate was a gift and his virtue. Remembering his contagious laughter and sense of humor will be a comfort for many.

Bob was always nice to everybody. I know his family will miss him. As a former Andrew employee, I am glad that I knew him. My prayers are with the family.
