Revelle G. Peritz nee Goldman, 90. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Eli Peritz. Loving mother of Saralyn (Howard Shidlowsky) Peritz and Howard (Linda) Peritz. Proud grandmother of Samantha (Fiancé Brad Zelman) Peritz, Seth (Sarah) Peritz. Cherished great grandmother of Kira Peritz. Dear sister of the late Henelee (the late Edward) Witzel and the late Hinda (the late Leonard) Groupe. Over her 30-year career as a Cook County Assistant State's Attorney in Child Abuse and Neglect, Revelle was a mentor, colleague and friend of many within her division. She was an advocate and protector for hundreds of children. Most of all Revelle loved and appreciated her time with her family as much as her family loved and appreciated her. She loved her Sunday night family dinners. Lifetime member of Na'amat. Service Tuesday 11:30 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Westlawn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, 1240 S. Damen Ave., Chicago, IL 60608 www.chicagocac.org.
