Batt, Rebecca (nee Alhalel), beloved wife for 68 years of Nathan, devoted mother of Frankie (Richard) Sabul, Sheila Greene and Harry (Deborah Stevens) Batt, proud grandmother of Wendy (Max) Mintzer, Scott Sabul, Tammy (Steve) Waples, Debbie (Steve) Popkin, Jonathan Palmer, Jaime (David) Nachbar and Renee Greene, adoring great-grandmother of 11, dear sister of the late Albert and Ethel Alhalel. Service Friday, 12:30 p.m., at Congregation Beth Shalom, 3433 Walters, Northbrook. Interment Rosemont Park, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Congregation Beth Shalom.
