To Mrs Laarveld and Family - I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband, father and friend. I am certain that during his time on this earth he touched many people in his life and those hearts feel the sadness and loss with you. I hope that knowing that he is in a place of peace brings comfort to your sad hearts during this time.

Dear Melinda and the entire Laarveld Family,
We'll greatly miss Ray and his "presense" which surrounded him like a halo. From when I first met him in 1970, working in Townhall, Ray was "the man'" Efficient in sharing his opinions through his light humor (always) but effective with his "Police presense" (when necessary). I will be seeing many of his CPD pals who are not yet aware of his passing this coming Wednesday. We will share a moment of silence recalling the gift of "RAY." God bless him, all of you, and all the many friends he touched over the years.
Love,
Paul Pillar

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Laarveld family. I will never forget the great times that I had with 'Ranny' and others on Claremont Ave.

Iremember his 1953 Olds. We had fun times at the Old Mansion. He loved to play softball and could hit it a country mile. I will miss him.

I am feeling a tremendous loss over the passing of my favorite cousin
"Ranny". He was a good man and he "fought the fight".I pray that a cure for this dreadful disease with which he was afflicted will
be discovered very soon. Beepsy
