To the family of Ralph Schelly,
Our offices only today received word of Ralph's passing. We extend our sincere sympathies and condolences to his family. Ralph was an attorney's attorney and he mentored many of us in the area of immigraiton law. He was respected by all while he was a vigorous advocate on behalf of those in need. Jeff Kriezelman, one of our attorneys, was actually mentored by Ralph. This was more than 30 years ago. Ralph always offered his time and advice to any who would seek his help. He will be missed by many.

Mr. Schelly was one of the most admired attorneys I have ever known. In 1996 when I started practicing law, he taught me how to practice immigration law and always was on my side when I needed help.
May God bless his soul.

I will always remember my brother Ralph for his optimism and warm personality. No matter how bad the weather was he always said "It's a wonderful day in Chicago. He enjoyed his work as a lawyer and would do his best to help his clients. He enjoyed playing hand ball and swimming and loved to sing for people. His outlook on life was always optimistic no matter what happened. He will be missed and remembered by family, friends and all those he helped. With love, dear brother.

My Uncle Ralph was always one of my "favorite" uncles. His visits to see us in Los Angeles were always a treat. In the 1950's he took me, my sister Jeanie and cousin Judy to Disneyland which had recently opened. What a thrill! Over the years I always cherished his visits which were filled with love and laughter. He was a unique and charming guy and will be greatly missed.
With love,
Bonnie

I met Mr. Schelly in 1975 when I first start working for the government. He has seen me grown up in the government from a part-time student to supervisor federal officer. He has always treated me with respect and kindness. May god bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
