Daryl Schelly Obituary
Daryl Jane Schelly, nee Lazarus, age 83, of Northbrook, beloved wife for 54 years of Karl Schelly; loving mother of Philip Schelly and Katherine and Brendan Galloway; adored grandma of Hazel, Jack, and Leo Galloway; devoted daughter of the late Harry and the late Hildene Lazarus; cherished sister of Robert (late Carlene) Lazarus and Alan Lazarus; dear sister-in-law of Diane Schelly; treasured aunt and friend to many. Daryl was an incredibly generous and caring soul, and her family was the center of her universe, especially her grandchildren. There will be a gathering of family and friends, Thursday, August 3 rd , 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Northmoor Country Club, 820 Edgewood Road, Highland Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to Working in the Schools (WITS), 150 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 1120, Chicago, IL 60606, www.witschicago.org.
