Ralph Clemmons Obituary

Clemmons, Ralph A. Age 83, of Lockport, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by his family. Born in Kentucky, living in the Clearing Area before moving to Lockport in 1998. Retired from Paccar Parts in Chicago after many years of service. Ralph was an avid Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox fan. His enjoyment was watching Westerns, but most importantly he lived for his family. Preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Margie (Stephens), daughter-in-law Susan Clemmons, brothers Howard and Rondal, sisters Elizabeth Martin and Mildred Shelley. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (Godlanski), his children Karen (Gary) Ulman, Ralph (Jeannine), Deborah (David) Drews and Mark (Donna), grandchildren Cindy, Dawn and Craig (Caryn) Bridges, Jamie (Alyssa), Scott and Andrew Clemmons, Claire and Jane Drews, Ashley and Nicholas Clemmons, great-grandchildren Faith and Luke Bridges, Jailee and Teegan Clemmons and Colin Keener and a sister Berniece Froedge. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Per Ralph's wishes, cremation rites were accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice in Ralph's name would be appreciated. Family will greet relatives and friends Saturday, March 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 8404 S. Cass Ave., Darien from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00 am.
