To all who have entered kind words about my brother Patrick, I thank you. It has been four months since Patrick left us, and what a void. He was a fantastic human being. I am taking the advise offered by the priest at Patrick's funeral mass, by taking one of the qualities I admired in Patrick and applying it to who I am. I think this will allow me to always remember him. Again, thank you for your kind words.

To the Jesse family,
You have my sincere and deepest sympathies on the passing of Pat and the sadness and hurt that this has inevitably brought to your endearing family. Pat was an extraordinary and vibrant man who had a gift for putting people at ease and always making them laugh. When my kids would try to sort out all of Uncle Mike’s siblings Pat was unanimously referred to as “the real funny one”. He truly brought joy and laughter to this world and made a positive impact on all those he met. My prayers to all of you to find the strength to endure these difficult times. Peace and love to you all.

I'm saddened to hear the news of Pat's passing. Pat helped me land my first job back in 1990, and I've worked with him steadily from that point up until a couple of years ago. He was a fine electrician and a good friend. Carefree and quick-witted, he always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He'll be dearly missed yet always remembered by me not as a co-worker but as a good buddy.

It is hard for me to understand the death of a young cousin. It must make Aunt Ruth, his brothers and sisters and his children numb. May the happy memories you have of Pat offer some solace. My sincere condolences to you all.

Even though we didn't know Patrick Jesse very long we are greatly sadden to hear of this news. Patrick only had worked for us a short time, but many co-workers were very fond of him. He was a hard worker and a great guy all around! We will miss him! Our deepest sympathy to the Jesse family!

To the Entire Jesse Family,
Over the last eight months, as Mike and I worked and played golf together in Millington, TN, I have come to know the Jesse family well through Mike's stories of growing up and Irish family in Chicago.
His stories both entertained and painted wonderfully exciting word pictures of, as we would say in the south, 'a very special bunch of people.'
Mike's stories of sisters Geri and Karen, and brothers Tom, David, Mike, Kevin and Patrick playing, laughing and growing up together made me truly admire your family's closeness and the love you share.
You have something very special.
One particular story Mike told, of a young Jesse family dressed in their Easter best, oldest to youngest, strolling proudly together through a South Chicago neighborhood on their way to Mass, lingers in the theater of my mind yet today.
And, life also brings sadness. Patrick's passing comes at too early an age and leaves an empty space in our lives. As I said earlier, I feel I have come to know your family well. I share your pain in the loss of your son, father and brother, Patrick.
My wife Pat and I offer our most sincere conedolences to all of you.
Patrick' memory lives on in your thoughts, your memories, your hearts, and your prayers. As you share your stories of growing up together and of your time together as adults, Patrick's love, laughter, smile, and presence will remain with you always.
God bless you all.
