I met Pat (Greenie) on the CME trading floor many many years ago and we became instant friends. Everyone that knew him spoke of his kind gentle heart and how much they respected
him.

As the floor trading wound down and people left Pat and I stayed to etch out a few more years and continued to have lunch together and commiserate and celebrate our expert trading ! :)

I will miss you Greenie (as we called him on the floor) I am a better person for have known you.

Rest in peace my friend.

I met Pat several years ago when our boys were playing football. Great guy - always fun to talk to. Seem to always show an interest in what Jack was doing on the field, and what Maura was doing in cheer.
He'll be missed by all. My deepest sympathy to Heather, Jack and Maura.

Patrick Harty the true definition of a Loyal Friend! Pat and I started as apprentices on the midnight shift 5yrs ago both of us older in age and starting a new journey in a new career together. We became fast friends and had a lot of things in common to talk about and share to help get thru those nights.

Pat was always there to help no matter what the task was or how difficult of job it was he always showed up. I was very lucky and fortunate to have been able to call him my friend! My deepest condolences go to Heather, Maura and Jack as he talked about you all the time. I will miss you Pat!!

My deepest sympathy to the Harty Family, Heather, Jack and Maura, and to all who knew and loved him. Pat, from your friend and brother Mangus. Losing you and Erin these past few weeks have brought me unbearable sorrow. Buddy, when we get together again we're gonna have to make up for all the time we missed. My heart aches for your family and for our friends. When I heard you left us it tore my heart. I'm just gonna spend the rest of my life cherishing all the good times we had. If there was anything in my life that I could do right now it would be to come and say good bye but I'm not able to so "Walk on to your next journey with me at your side in spirit". Rest peacefully my brother.

Tim and I had the privilege of spending 2 days with Pat, Heather, and the kids at our house in southern Illinois about 3 weeks ago. They were on a family spring break trip and stopped by to fish in our pond. Pat and Jack caught some really nice size fish and the next day we went hiking in Giant City.

I am so grateful that they decided to stop on there way back to Chicago. I have known Pat for quite a while, but Tim and I really got to spend some quality time with Pat and his family up at our family cottage in northern Wisconsin.

He was a very special person and was always asking if he could help with anything. Pat helped out my dad when he was living alone up at the Wisconsin home.

We both are going to miss this special person. It has been an honor to know him. I feel the loss of him will impact many people. We send our love to Heather, Maura and Jack.
