We swam together for four years in high school, worked together at Calareso's Farm Stand, graduated from high school only to become closer friends over the years through college. Though at first I was saddened by your premature departure from us, I will always cherish the time we shared together and the happiness you brought to so many people. Your love for life and unconditional love for your friends, and your ability to put a smile on anyone's face is something that I will never forget and something that I will always strive to emulate. Thank you for letting me be your friend. Love ya Mike and I'll miss you. Love Matty

I met Mike about 6 or 7 years ago when he started work at Calareso's farm stand. He was an average kid of his age, then. Over the next few years leading up to today, I have watched and enjoyed seeing Mike become what we will all remember him as. Some of my fondest memories of Mike are at the farm stand. These past few years Mike would dress up as Santa and run around the store on an energy that was so desired. He would make us all laugh till it hurt, sometimes till we cried. I am so proud to have known Mike. He has made my life better, and even though he didn't do everything we all thought he was going to do he touched my life and has made me a better person. I love Mike and a glad that I have so much around me that remindes me of him. Go easy and be well Mike I will miss you.Love Joe

Mike,

As a father, I know that no words can touch the sorrow that grips your heart right now. No gesture can heal the grief that envelops you. This was a loss that, right now, must seem like too much to bear. So much promise and so much life that has been snatched away from us all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and you family as you go through the difficult days ahead.

My sincerest sympathy to you and your family on your loss.

Michael F. Micciche III was one of the most amazing people I have ever had the fortune to meet. His passions were many and varied, from wiffleball to Hawthorne, from fantasy baseball to independent music, but none of those pursuits can do justice to the kind of person he was. Mr. and Mrs. Micciche, our thoughts are with you... your son was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

I received a message from my son, Colin Sheehan today about this tragic news. I knew Mike from his friendship with Colin and the years in the RMHS Band. Some of my fondest memories are of chaperoning the kids on our many band trips. Mike was a great young man and a delight to know. There was never a time he was at my home that he wasn't welcome and always had a cheery word for me. Words are so inadequate to even begin to express the feelings of shock at his death. My heartfelt sympathy. My prayers and thoughts will be with you in the trying times ahead, and may God grant you the strength to face what lies ahead.
