My Dear Karyn,

I was so saddened today during Torah study at Am Shalom. When saying Kaddish, Michael's name was spoken. I turned to Harold, who nodded his head at me, and I burst into tears. I do not think you will ever be able to appreciate the sense of comfort and family I have taken when I was able to embrace the two of you at all of the simchas daddy and I were able to share with you over the years through JCYS. Please know those times were a vehicle by which I could measure the best of times that meant family for me and Eddie. What the agency did for him as a child truly grounded the best of his childhood. Having you and Michael at his side all of these years,as dear friends only reinforced all of the goodness your family has done for so many other needy children. As you have offered light and love through your generosity to thousands of children who have passed through the doors of the Lutz Center, and all of the programs you have made possible, I know there are no words to take away the pain your family feels today. But please know that he has left a legacy of memories for all of us, from the warmth in his smiling eyes, to the love and devotion for his family; I was so proud to see all of you together at the event honoring your family in '08, and especially proud to be part of your special night. I will miss his attentive questions, his warm hugs, and again, that never ending smile.

With all my love, and deepest sympathy to your entire family,

Gail Glickman

Jonathan, Jen, Bari. Jacob and Julia,
Stu joins me in extending to you our most sincere condolences on the passing of your dad, father-in-law and grandfather.
I have to share what puts a smile on my face is when your parents came to SB on a Sunday morning and came to TBE.
I took them back to the religious school wing. Julia was out with her class on the little playground. I opened the door and she saw her grandpa and her eyes opened wide and she had the widest grin on her face....with that little smirk... Ran over to him and what a hug!!!!
When we lose a loved one..we have to be thankful for good memories.
Feel our hugs,
Anita and Stu

Please accept our deepest sympathy to the Lutz Family.

I will always remember all the fun we had with Michael at our Annual Golf Tournaments for 12 years around the U.S.A., everywhere from the West Coast to the Bahamas. Fortunately, I met my wife at one of these Golf trips.

Michael was one of the kindest and most caring persons I ever knew. Michael cared so much for Karen that on one of our golf trips to Miami, FL he carried food back on the airplane from that restaurant to Deerfield, IL. Michael wanted to share the experience with her.

Michael will be missed by many.
