He was a rare talent and needless to say had a tremendous impact on my life and many others during the Four Phase days. Certainly one of the quickest minds and he always kept us our toes! For some crazy reason he picked John Couch, Frank Shoemaker and me for his team in 1980 out of 700 candidates. What a life changer and I am sorry I never thanked him for the opportunity he gave me and many others.

I loved working with Mike in all of my years at FourPhase Systems. He was a great guy who always kept a smile on his face! My regrets on not being able to attend the memorial......God bless Mike.

Mike was more than the best boss ever, he was a friend and mentor. I was only with you a couple years but you made a huge impression in a short time. I´ll never forget our wonderful lunches sitting in your office eating fresh peach yogurt while you imparted your wise advise and wisdom. I´ll be sure to have that martini in your name soon. RIP.

So very said to hear of Michael's passing. Please accept my family's condolences - Pat Philipps, Joe, Amy and Jennifer Buczko. Have so many wonderful memories of Michael during the Bolingbrook Park District days. He was a true friend.

Mike, you were the best boss and mentor a girl could have. You were also a father figure to me and I will never forget you. See you in Heaven!

When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set on me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
why cry for a soul set free.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
a step on the road to home.
I'm now with family who have gone before,
at peace and embraced by love,
for I have touched the face of God,
and the sun will set no more...
