Danny,Mary Helen,Dave and Marge, So Sorry to hear about your mother. I will always remember when the whole family used to get together for Thanksgiving and later on all of the aunts would start singing, pretty soon they would have the whole group of us joining in. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Danny, Mary Helen, Dave and Marge, Can't get back to Chicago in time for your Mom's services, but I think you know how much we all thought of your great Mother. She was an example for all of us in kindness, love and thoughtfulness. I will always remember her as the kind of person I should strive to be on a daily basis. I loved her very much. I know she's praying for all of us now. See you guys this summer for another party at the house in "Innisfree." We'll share memories of her and your Dad then. All the best, John Halpin

Dear Danny, David, Mary Helen, and Margie,
I remember the first time I met your mom; we were all at Gramma Binchey's for Christmas and your dad, with great courage, brought her to meet all of us. We all knew she must be something special because your dad had never before brought a girl to meet the entire clan. I especially remember that the aunties cajoled your mom into singing "Mother" for Gramma Binchey. Well, that was the first time I'd ever heard that song so I'm sure it was a first for everyone except your gramma and there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd. As you might imagine, from then on, that was her signature song and she was asked to sing it whenever we all got together.
I remember so many good times growing up when we'd go to your house for the annual "Western Days" celebration. When your mom won the mink stole she let all of us share in her good fortune by letting us borrow it for special occasions. I wore it when I got married as did Noni. We all looked forward to the parade, digging for a hidden treasure, all the great dishes everyone prepared, but especially playing with you kids who were our only cousins and we all felt like adults because you were all so young.
Your mom holds a very special place in my heart and I'll treasure her memory and pray for her daily until we can get together again upstairs. I'll miss her quiet laughter, her easy going ways, and her faithful attendance at every family function no matter what was going on in her life.
I'm sure she's up there singing with and for the family right now.
Love you all,
Sis

I remember when my cousin, John, first brought Mary over to introduce her to the family. I thought she was one of the best additions to our family ever, and I still feel the same.
