STELTER--Mary E. Stelter, nee Droegemueller, age 81, beloved wife for 48 years to the late Donald W. Stelter (2009). Loving mother of Laura (Mark) Lavender, Lynn (Mark) Parsons, David (Tomone) Stelter and the late Donald Wayne Stelter. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Meghan and Lauren Lavender; Natalie, Kevin, Rachel and Shannon Parsons. Dear sister of Elaine (Larry) Reynolds. Fond aunt of six nieces and nephews. Mary was a registered nurse and practiced in both Pennsylvania and Illinois. She was an active, long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the handbells. Mary loved bowling and golfing--especially the time she got a hole-in-one! She was also an avid Cubs fan. Visitation Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Burial private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
