Christakos, Marilyn Theresa

Marilyn Theresa Christakos, 78, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on September 3, 2025. She was born on July 27, 1947 to Toney and Nellie (Buckler) Galinausky.

She is survived by her husband, Lenny Theodore Christakos, and their two children, Melissa (Clyde O. Hunter Jr.) Christakos and Craig (Skye) Christakos; her two treasured grandchildren, Cordelia and Forbes; cherished aunt of Christine (Dale) Nehring and Christopher Christakos; dear cousin to Pat Butkus Barnett. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Antoinette "Toni" Hodor.

Visitation and chapel service to be held Monday, September 22 at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights, IL at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lithuanian National Cemetery in Justice, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the South Carolina Aquarium.
