M. Ciesla Obituary

Sr. M. Venantia Ciesla, C.R. (Stephanie Ciesla) Member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Resurrection, died July 29 at the Queen of the Resurrection House of Prayer. Loving daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Lachcik) Ciesla; beloved sister of Frank Jr., Raymond, Edwin, Richard, Walter, Lottie Petersen, Helen Smoron, Bernice Padua, Eleanore Nedza and Lillian McCune. Survived by Edwin, Walter and Lillian; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, August 1, 3:00-8:00 p.m. with Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Sisters of the Resurrection Provincial Home, 7432 W. Talcott Ave., Chicago. Funeral Friday, August 2, at 10:00 a.m. at the Provincial Home Chapel. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sisters of the Resurrection Retirement Fund appreciated.
