To dearest Maureen,Craig,Laura, Sara,Marc,Delores, Abraham,Patrick,Teresa,Francesco .

It is exactly a month now when I heard of the shocking news about Tita Lucy's death.

No words can expressed the sadness I felt when I heard the news about our very own Dr. Lucy Rita. She's wasn't only my Godmother, Aunt but also a second mother esp. when I first came to this country. I also felt so bad because I couldn't even see her for the last time before she was laid to rest.

There are so many words you can discribe Tita Lucy but the most I can tell is that she was a "GREAT LADY" was a mother to everybody, not only to relatives even to close friends. She was always there to give you moral, spiritual and medical advise.

Tita Lucy you'll be missed by everyone. We love you and I really thank GOD for giving me the opportunity to share my life with you and the rest of the family.

Goodbye for now dear Tita Lucy.

LOVE,

ZENY

We'll all miss Tita Lucy as she was such a lovable person just like Tita Tess. We're so fortunate that they have shared their lives and love with us.

Our family often tapped Lucy whenever questions of a medical nature cropped up. She was always supportive and a source of comfort, ready to open her heart and home.

Always busy, always helping, making every minute count. Her life was so unique, so full, brimming over with love for her family.

Her contribution to countless children at the hospital has made a difference in their lives.

She has earned many "stars in her crown" and now they are shining brightly.

We send our love to all the family and pray that God will grant you peace and courage as you face the loss of your dear mother.

Dear Maureen, Mark, Delores and Pat,

We were quite shocked with the events that just happened. Tita Lucy was brilliant while she was practicing medicine but her greatest achievement was raising all of you. She will and always be a mother who loves her children. I know that she has been prepared to face the creator for a long time and I am sure she is very happy to be with our God. Even if we are not there physically we will still be with her in spirit.

Much love,

Delfin, Eileen and the 3D's (David,Diego & Daniel)

We call her Tita Lucy, people know her as a religious icon. When we gather we talk about any upcoming retreats, speakers or anything that is going on at different parishes. We hosted a group of talented singers and dancers from the Philippines to perform here in Chicago and also a retreat. I am lucky to have spent quality time with you during my daughter's 16th birthday(September 12). Thank you for coming and bringing the delicious cheesecake.

Tita Lucy, we will miss you and will not forget you.

We are praying for you and your family.

Maureen, Delores, Marc and Patrick - Lucy was one of my oldest and dearest friends and I love her very much. She will always be in my heart as she will be for so many. She was truly special and we shall all miss her very much. There are no words I can say to give you comfort. I can say that you all were so very important in her life as she in yours and her love will always be in your hearts. She is with Marcelino, smiling down on you and sending their love to you. It is weird to send this message electronically, since Lucy never even wanted to do email! In deference to her, I shall also send a "paper" note to you as well.
