Laurel Lucas Obituary

Lucas, Laurel May 81, of Edgar, WI, died October 2, 2004 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Laurel was born August 22, 1923 in Aurora, IL to the late Wiiliam and Helen (Cran) Landers. She married Michael Lucas on May 15, 1943 in Chicago. Michael preceded her in death on October 20, 2000. Laurel enjoyed reading and baking. Survivors include three daughters, Connie (Clarence) Stieber of Marathon, WI, Laurelee (Thomas) Ogurek, Chicago, IL, Claudia (Ted Pudlo) Lucas, Fox Lake, IL; two sons Lyle (Gina) Lucas, Elmhurst, IL and Charles Lucas, River Grove, IL, 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Virginia Maday of Fairmont, Minn., and many nieces and nephews. Laurel was preceded in death by twin son and daughter, Leatha and Lance; two brothers, Warren and Lawrence Landers; and one sister, Evelyn Copeland. Family services were held.
