Larry Rogers Obituary
Larry Rogers, Sr., father, Trial Lawyer, and founding partner of Power Rogers, LLP dies at 75 y/o. Larry valued his family most. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and human being. As the patriarch of the Rogers' family, he was a strong advocate for higher education. He was a trailblazer in the legal community. He leaves his life partner, Pamela Anderson; children, Larry (daughter-in-love, Ralonda) Ann Marie, and Frederic; 4 siblings, Gwendolyn, Riley, Brenda, and Anthony (Vanessa); 8 grandchildren, Trevor, Dominque, Jalen, Camryn, Erin, Sydney, Jordan and Sterling, and 3 great grandchildren, Naomi, Aiden and Jayce and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

I want to offer my condolences and celebrate the life of Larry Sr. He was a mentor to me and never failed to reach out to help a then young lawyer trying to figure out the Chicago legal system. He sponsored my admission to the Federal Trial Bar and gave priceless advice as I carved out my career. More than all of this however, Larry was a gentleman and role model at a time when black lawyers had few to look to. He left a large and benevolent footprint. May you now rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
