Joseph Paulin Obituary
Joseph (Joey) Paulin, 29, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on December 15, 2024. Born on November 6, 1995, Joey brought light and laughter to everyone who knew him. A graduate of Guerin Prep High School, Joey was known for his kind heart, love of animals, and joyful spirit. He especially enjoyed feeding squirrels and playing with his beloved pugs, Bucky and Javi. Joey found great happiness in music and had a special ability to make people laugh and smile with his natural charm and kind nature. He worked at Vitalant Blood Services, where he was respected and appreciated by colleagues and friends. Joey is lovingly remembered by his parents, Father James Paulin and Mother Janine Paulin (Reuter); his brother, Nicholas Paulin; his sister-in-law Anita; and a large extended family including his Grandmother Teresa Reuter, Aunts Cynthia Duff, Cynthia Paulin, and Angela Paulin; Great Aunt Nelia Kurczbuch; Uncles Paul Paulin; and many loving cousins. Joey will be remembered most for his smile, his kindness, and his unique ability to bring joy to those around him.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. Prayers and final viewing will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 8:30 AM, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. A funeral mass will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Hedwig Catholic Church (Blessed Carlo Acutis Parish), 2226 N Hoyne Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.
