My sincere condolence to Virg, Larry, Laurie & Bob. I knew Joe most of my life and he had this great gift/ability to make you laugh, even if you were sad or mad. All who knew him or met him can relate and tell a story on how he made them smile and laugh. My main regret is that as we got older, we did not see each other as often as I would have liked, and I believe that Joe would have liked. But even though Joe is not here with all of us physically, he is always with us in our minds, our hearts and our prayers. He was a GREAT FRIEND.

Hey Joe,
Thanks for the memories. I've never met a guy that I've felt so close to in such a short amount of time (except for that boy of yours, Bob).
You, like Bob are just one of those people that you are instantly attracted to and antrigued by. I feel blessed to have had the time we had together and will miss the opportunity to "do it again".
To your son whom I know you had a great relationship with, I hope you'll call on me for that weekend trip you'll need away from home to celebrate your Dad's life. Maybe we can spin those wheels in remembrance Dad sometime or, play some blackjack, or even spin that roulette wheel.
My sincere regards to the family. I can't remember a time when I felt so close to someone that I knew for such a short time.
You remind me of myself in the way that you seamed to live everyday as if it were your last as if it was, something I try to do in remembrance of individuals like you whose daily cup is half full, not half empty.
My best to you and your's,
Randy and Debbie Davis

I love you Uncle Joe. I truly regret not having had an opportunity to tell you that in person before your passing. You always lit up a room with your wit and humor. I will never forget how you came to New York to be with me on my Wedding Day and despite being nervous you still managed to get a few laughs out of me. I admire you,I will miss you and above all I am proud to have had the honor of being your Godson. Love, Jeff.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe. He was an amazing, kind, gentle, and humerous person. Through all of his treatment he remained courageous and optomistic, often helping fellow patients. He was always willing to go the extra mile and always follwed advice to the letter - he so wanted to get better. I remember him exercising to regain strength by cycling around (and around) a parking lot.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. We will miss him. If there is anything that you need from us, please contact me.
