Age 89. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Lydia (nee Kuta), Loving father of Michael (Cindy) Baron, Patti (Michael) Wilson, and Stephanie Baron (Anthony Houston). Dearest grandfather of Eric (Christie) Baron, Jennifer Baron, and Conor (Haley) Wilson. Cherished great grandfather of Hannah Baron. Dear brother of the late Don "Butch" Baron and the late Bobby Baron, Fond brother-in-law of Tony (Dee) Kuta and Joe (Anna) Polys. Amazing cousin, nephew, uncle and friend to many and all who knew him. Joe Baron was an active member of the Archer Highland American Legion Post #698, Ted Stempien VFW Post #8821, St Bruno Church Usher, and St Bruno St Vincent DePaul Society Treasurer. Anyone that knew Joe also knows that he was a Die Hard Fisherman and "Proud to be an American!" Joe's family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe Baron's name to Honor Flight Chicago would be greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 3-9pm at Hann Funeral Home, 8230 S Harlem Ave, Bridgeview, IL. Funeral Monday, February 8. 2021 at St. Bruno Church, 10:00am Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by his daughter, Stephanie, Baron's Burials.
