John "Jack" Patrick O'Shaughnessy, age 77. Beloved husband to Susan (Sheehy); loving father to Jackie (Brian) Murphy, Jamie (Anthony) Napolitano, Jennifer (Michael) Pekic and Joanne (Ferdinando) Traversa; proud grandfather of Anna and Antonio Traversa, Sofia, Fiona and Anthony Napolitano, Allison and Caitlin Murphy and John "Jack" Pekic; beloved son of John and Sally O'Shaughnessy; cherished brother of the late Sheila O'Shaughnessy, the late Helene (Jim) Ferraro, the late Mary Rae (Richard) Dazzo; cherished brother in law to the late Carol (Andy) Kochoukas and Pat Pinto; loving uncle, godfather, coach and friend to many. Jack was born in Chicago on August 26th 1943. He was a retired Chicago Police Officer, veteran of the United States Army and devoted his life to his family. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30th from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Interment private.
