Eagleton, John L. Age 78 of New Lenox. Beloved husband of Catherine Eagleton (nee Mazzaia). Loving father of the late Joann Bolen. Cherished Brother-in-Law of Josie (Ray Chwasz) Mazzaia and Anthony Mazzaia; Proud and Loving Uncle of Christopher (Jade) Chwasz and Julia (Geoff) Peyton, Great-uncle of Adah and Isla Chwasz, and God-father of Lucas and Anna Wickham. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Margaret Eagleton. Prior to retirement, he worked for Panduit Corp. Donations in John's memory may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: donate.lls.org/lls/donate or LRF: www. allbloodcancers.org/donate. Interment private. It's been 35+ years since I've worked out on a Judo mat with John and I remember that it was like trying to move a brick wall. Great gentleman; smart, curious, and gracious. I always enjoyed his company and wish there were more people like him in this world. Condolences to you, Cathy.
