Dear John and Pat,

Your Dad was a very special person to all of us. I enjoyed our special rounds of golf together. He was a very classy guy who I feel priviledge to have known. My heart goes out to you and the rest of the family on his loss. Dave

I heard about Jay from his mother Pauline's cousin -- my grandmother Meta Schutt Schrom. At one time Pauline and Meta were close (we still have a card that Pauline sent to Meta!). Grandma was very proud of Jay and as children, my sisters and I heard all about his Heisman trophy. I'm sorry I never met him. He sounds like a most remarkable man. My condolences to his family. Your distant cousin, Pamela Schrom Reynolds.
