TO JOANNE'S FAMILY,

WHILE AT TEACHER'S COLLEGE, JOANNE AND I SHARED MANY LUNCHES AND LAUGHS AT THE SANDWICH BOARD. SHE HAD A MARVELOUS SENSE OF HUMOR AND A SPECIAL KNACK FOR MAKING YOU FEEL SMARTER THAN YOU ACTUALLY WERE. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF OUR YEARS AS YOUNG BRIDES TOO,SHE WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ONE I HAD EVER SEEN...AND THEN THERE WERE DANCE LESSONS,DINNERS,AND GIRL'S NIGHT OUT. JOANNE WAS A VERY CARING TEACHER WHO GAVE AND GAVE OF HER TIME UNSELFISHLY TO HELP HER STUDENTS SUCCEED. I HAVE MISSED HER PRESENCE AT SCHOOL AS WE SHARED FAMILY PICTURES,HAPPENINGS,AND EVENTS ON A DAILY BASIS.SHE WAS SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU.WE HAVE ALL EXPERIENCED A LOSS WITHOUT HER. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.

Dear Cousins,

I felt so sad when I read Aunt Joanne's obituary. My heart felt sympathy goes out to you all.

I also remembered so many fun filled days on Lamb Drive. The Oak Lawn Pool, sleep overs, and Pancakes for 10-15 at your kitchen table--prepared by Aunt Joanne with a continuous dialogue of what was to occur that day.

She was a loving and genourous Aunt. I will keep her in my prayers.

With our faith we are connected to each other in love, and we will find a rainbow on the other side of this dark cloud.

God Bless you all.

Please let us get in touch with one another. Life is indeed too short.

All my love to you all

Melissa.
