To the Kanes and the Cowheys,I send my sincere condolences to all of you on the much too early death of JoAnn. I will always remember her as a very kind and lovely lady at Queens and it is very sad that she left this world too soon. I was so sorry to hear of Joann's passing. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Joann in the Ideal Health business for about 4 months. During that time she was always upbeat and an inspiration to those she came in contact with. I am very grateful to have had that time to get to know her.

Dear Kane Family: None of you will know me, but I spent my Freshman year at Clarke College in Dubuque, IA with Joanne. It was with great sadness that I read of her death today. I can still see her with her short, cute haircut and vibrant personality living across the hall. I believe we had to have had the most "fun" group of girls ever to have lived on the first floor of Mother Mary Frances Clarke Hall--it's a good thing it's no longer there, because if those walls could talk...!You have my most sincere sympathy and prayers for her and for you in your loss.
