To the Kanes and the Cowheys,I send my sincere condolences to all of you on the much too early death of JoAnn. I will always remember her as a very kind and lovely lady at Queens and it is very sad that she left this world too soon. May your fond memories help you through this most unhappy time and may God welcome her into a very heavenly home. Fondly, Peggy Cahill

Dear Kane & Cowhey Families,

I was so sorry to hear of Joann's passing. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Joann in the Ideal Health business for about 4 months. During that time she was always upbeat and an inspiration to those she came in contact with. I am very grateful to have had that time to get to know her.

Please know that you all will be in my prayers at this difficult time.

Fondly,

Mary Frisby Bannon

Dear Kane Family: None of you will know me, but I spent my Freshman year at Clarke College in Dubuque, IA with Joanne. It was with great sadness that I read of her death today. I can still see her with her short, cute haircut and vibrant personality living across the hall. I believe we had to have had the most "fun" group of girls ever to have lived on the first floor of Mother Mary Frances Clarke Hall--it's a good thing it's no longer there, because if those walls could talk...!You have my most sincere sympathy and prayers for her and for you in your loss. Sincerely, Sue Murphy Hereley
