Jeanne Sullivan Obituary
Jeanne Sullivan, 88, passed away on August 29th. in Rochester, Minnesota. She is survived by her children Deirdre (Jed) Frees, Barbara (Peter) Sereda, and Mark (Terri) Sullivan, grandchildren Nathan and Adam (Claire) Frees, Maddie, Natalie (Asher Salik), and Joey (Sara) Sereda, Sam (Lisa Kim) and Ben (Meg Gibson) Sullivan, great grandson Franklin and many close friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sullivan, her parents Alfred and Lillian Baldi and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. In lieu of ?owers, please consider donating to Chicago Lights Social Service Center, 126 East Chestnut St., Chicago, IL 60611, chicagolights.org or the National Immigrant Justice Center, 224 S. Michigan Ave., Suite 600, Chicago, IL 60604, www.immigrantjustice.org. Mrs. Sullivan was a long time client of Carnegie Sargents Pharmacy. She was always kind, patient, and courteous. Attributes not so common in todays age. We will miss her. May her memory be for a blessing.

Dear Mark, Barbara, Deirdre and Family,
Please accept sympathies today from Rochester, MN where Jeanne has many friends.
Our hearts pour out our gratitude to God for her many acts of generosity and her thoughtful care for us.
May God give you strength and peace today. We will be watching and celebrating in the communion of the saints as we commend her to her rest.
We believe she is now with her Beloveds at the marriage feast that has no end.

Jeanne was a true "guiding light" for so may of us in Chicago....for me beginning in local politics in the 60's...through just a few years ago at a museum dinner. Jeanne set the standard ....taught us all how to fight the good fights...using soft voices....a winning tactic so often ignored. We all learned from you, Jeanne....you will be remembered, loved and missed by so many....
