James overwhelming appreciation and love for ordinary people and particarly those who were oppressed and ignored. he fought for thee rights of working people, blacks, Latinos and all those considered poor and direspected. He was a brilliant soul! And his compassion for ordinary people was extraordinary. A passion to right the wrongs that have left people economically and socially behind in their lives. his dear, beloved,Martha and so many of the rest of us must weep at the death of James, but we glory in his commitment to the least of these people.
