Stamps, James S. age 80, at rest September 24, 2003, beloved husband of Algeria (nee Goldston), fond brother of Floyd Logan and Bertha, loving godfather of Erika Terri Lacey and many other loving relatives and friends. Retired Painter and Paper Hanger at Chicago Housing Authority. Visitation Monday, September 29, 3 to 8 p.m. at Jackson Funeral Home, 7350 S. Cottage Grove. Services Tuesday, at the Chapel in Oak Woods Cemetery, 1035 E. 67th St., visitation 10 a.m. funeral 11 a.m. with interment following. In lieu of flower, donations to the Cancer Association or Diabetes Foundation appreciated. Info. 773-783-3522.
