Friel, James age 69, Veteran of U.S. Navy, beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Stoeck), devoted father of Cathy (Kevin) Brogan and Michael (Amy), loving grandfather of Caitlyn and Sean Brogan, and Megan, Lauren, Anna and Camryn Friel, dearest brother of John (Judy), also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Funeral Tuesday, 10 a.m., at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 4107 W. 107th St., Oak Lawn. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. hi grandpa! i miss you very much! everytime i play basketball or baseball i think of the times we would play in ur backyard and how you've helped me fall in love with sports. I miss you very much and will always remeber how you encouraged me and always brought a smile to my saturdays.
