The Trappist monk, Thomas Merton, wrote of death: "It's where the hills end...and the stars begin."
Jim's "hills" are over now. It's his time to be with "stars" and their Maker.
Louise, to you and to your entire family, our deepest sympathy. An oak tree has fallen. At Mass, in prayer, you are with us here at Providence College - and the Lord is with you...especially now.
