Jim (The Poor Old Saunders Man) was well know on the south side. Eventhough Jim sold medical books for only about 12 years, it seems that every doctor, nurse, and librarian that he worked with all have fond memories of him. I replaced Jim as the Saunders rep in 1985 and almost never a day went by that someone who new Jim would ask if I new how he was doing. I only meet Jim a handfull on times usually through my brothers friends who knew Jim very well,so I'd try to keep his old friends posted on what I knew about him. When I would talk with Jim's old book customers I could tell from their reaction to the mention of Farrelly that he was someone special. How I knew is when I would mention Jim Farrelly a big, big smile would come to their face. Now when I see these customers and tell them the news they are all sadden to hear of his passing. We will all miss the (Poor Old Saunders Man)

Adrienne and Family,
You truly fought a good fight for Jim. It is difficult to say good-bye, so cherish his memory and know that you will all be together again. We shall miss his bright smile and fun loving personality. It is hard to think of him not being with us, but we know he is happy in God's hands. Now we have an angel on our side. All our love and prayers, Jim and Kathy
