Hi Val, I've been thinking about you everyday and wanting to be connected to you. I am deeply moved by Sonny's transition. I've always looked forward to seeing you two. It's always been the part of my mind that delights in who I'll get to be with when our group gets together.
The service was moving and I felt grateful to see and meet his/your family. The stories made be laugh, smile, and cry. Also, I liked seeing you be supported by family, your childhood friends, and our group.
What stands out the most about Sonny was his big presence, his big heart, the stories, his smile. They are all stuck in the picture I have of him.
He was very loving to me and that will stay with me forever.
I don't like that I can't see him so I will learn to "feel" him.
I know this is a huge change for you Val and my heart goes out to you. I've always admired your love for eachother, it's been sweet to be a witness.
I look forward to our continued loving connection with eachother Val.
Love, Mary

I saw Sonny every morning a the health club. He was a wonderful guy, with a great sense of humor, and a kind word for everyone. I was sorry to see his ponytail go, and sorrier yet at his passing. His was a life to celebrate.

Sonny was an ebullient spirit with a zest for life, captured perfectly in the eulogy today.
We loved his generosity of spirit -- how he always had a book or a CD he wanted to share with my parents, how he and Val shlepped to New Haven for my own nephew's bar mitzvah.
Dear Val, may easier days lie ahead.
Love,
Bonnie

I will keep in my memories the strong Sonny that I met at the running marathons. The gentle Sonny at the satellite events and the happy and fun Sonny at the Prem Rawat events.

Val,
May the memory of Sonny be a reminder to you of the love shared, and the preciousness of Life. Our heartfelt understanding of the void he leaves, and the opportunity that remains with all us to take another breath and realize how precious that Gift of Life is to all.
With Love,
David & Barb

Sonny will be greatly missed at the health club. I would see him almost every morning and he always had an interesting story to tell.
He was very proud of his family and all their accomplishments. He also loved to talk about all his many travels and his different life experiences.

he started out by just being my wifes nephew--later to become one of my very best friends.
