Ian was like a dad to me, he never once turned me away when I needed a shoulder to cry on or just to get stuff off my chest. He´s the reason I´m halfway through my bachelors! He always made sure that no matter what his promises were kept. I wish I could have given him at least half of what he did me. I´d like to think he enjoyed my company and being around my family for family events and Christmas, stuff like that.. He´s my best friend, no matter how long I have to wait to see your smirk again and hear I told you so! He deserved so much in life, he was probably one of the best people I´ve ever met. Stubborn and bull headed but very sweet and thoughtful. Always remembered and never forgotten. I love you Ian Akio Fukumori. Thanks for being the dad I never had.. hugs

My condolences to Ian´s friends and loved ones.
Ian was my neighbor in Dubuque and while we didn´t know each other well, he always made sure my kids stopped at his house for trick or treat.

Ian was someone special who genuinely cared about his friends and family. He always made everyone feel welcome and comfortable while in his presence. He was a kind & loyal friend to me and to my fiancé as well. I will always treasure the memories we shared. I pray for his eternal peace and serenity. We offer our condolences & prayers to Ian´s family during these difficult times. Our friend will be missed by anyone & all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
With deepest sympathy,
