Helen Klimek Obituary
Helen K. Klimek, age 93, of Burr Ridge, formerly of Western Springs, passed away July 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Eugene R. Klimek. Loving mother of Eugene A. (late Janette) Klimek and Paul (Cathryn) Klimek. Devoted grandmother of Joshua Klimek and Katherine Klimek. Fond aunt of many. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Antoni and Stanislawa Kwit; siblings, Theresa (late Roman) Budzinski, Louise (Late Mary), Joseph (late Alfreda), Victor, Stanley, Bruno (late Marcella), Mildred, Mary, Chester, and Edward. Helen will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and parish member at St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs.
Visitation 8:30am until time of chapel prayers 10:30am Thursday, July 17th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Procession to follow to 11am Mass at St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
