One of Harry's nephews, Mike Klesen read his Guest Book entry to those of us at the family's Appreciation Lunch. At that time, he encouraged us to make an entry. To Mary, Terry, Karen, Ingie, Marion, and all Harry's family, I offer these thoughts.
How do we find happiness? How will we suffer? We will never understand the ways of the world. We will never know the paths our individual lives will take. What we do know is that we are all born into this world to love and be loved in return. As members of Harry's family and large circle of friends, we have been blessed to receive his love. He was so easy to love in return.
He is one of four men in my life who have convinced me of the power of optimism, humor, faith, and spirit of generosity. I am so grateful to have known and loved people like Harry Miller. His is a legacy that serves to inspire us to live and love as he did -- without condition, and with compassion and grace. Yes, Mike, I agree -- if we can each become half the man that Harry was, we will serve mankind well.
Our memories of you, Harry, keep you alive in our hearts, forever.

Harry Miller is the uncle of our next door neighbor, John and Carol Klesen and the brother-in-law of John's mom, Lottie. It has indeed been our good fortune to know Harry, Mary and their family for the past 20 plus years. Harry certainly exemplified the word 'Gentleman' for he indeed was a GENTLE-MAN.
Our fond memories of Harry were many; His family, who he was so proud of, his golfing exploits and his Naval service to our country during WWII to name a few. It wasn't until this past summer during a visit to Harry and Mary's home that we discovered that he had a ship sunk out from under him by the Japanese and that he had spent many hours in the ocean, survived because of his strong faith and came home. Now God has called Harry home and we will miss him dearly.
God bless you Harry. We loved you very much. Mary and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Just a little bit about my uncle and a great man. Never in my life have I seen a man so dedicated and in love with his wife and family, this to me is inspirational and a good example to all of us on how to live a rewarding, loving, and caring life with no regrets. My uncle would bend over backwards for anyone who needed him or his help, I can only hope he knew how much he was appreciated and cherished. Along with his love for his family, he also loved to bowl, golf, or just have a beer and watch the game. He truly lived life to the fullest extent. With his passing he has left us all with many wonderful memories and secured a special place in all of our hearts. I can only hope and pray that through my life I can grow to be half the man that my uncle was. I will deeply miss you!

May Harry rest in peace now. Mary, may you find some peace now that your beloved Harry is no longer suffering. I am a co-worker of Carol Klesen at Memorial Park and will pray for comfort for all of you.
God Bless Us, EVERYONE!
