Harold Schiff Obituary

So sorry for your loss. Harold and I were friends for decades doing many successful projects together. Starting with Tri state Center for LaSalle Partners , and then doing the Sears distribution terminal at 2800 South Ashland and finally doing a downtown 21 story High-rise acrossing city hall and then a decade later doing Sears Computer center in Columbus Ohio.

Fond fond memories of someone that was a friend and a unique neighbor. Love to his wonderful wife Margo

My deepest condolences. Very great person. His memory will live as I continue to pass along anectodes of the few intense times we met. I have learned a lot from him and as I grow older I think I understand better what he meant.

I was glad to have had lunch with Harold on 6/20th at his favorite lunch spot Gibson's. I have known Harold since 1971 and he was a great mentor to me. He was responsible for my moving to Chicago in 1976 and ultimately meeting and marrying Nancy. I was glad you gave Lil his email address.Our deepest condolences to you.

My deepest condolences to the family. I was fortunate to know Harold and work with him on homeless issues. He was a great man, powerful thinker and caring of the world around him. His commitment to social issues ran deep and he truly gave without recognition. The world is a little less interesting without him.
