Mabus, Gerald Carl age 73, passed away On April 10, 2010.Gerald was born on January 12, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois and was a graduate of Tuley High School. On May 18th, 1957 he married Carol Mabus (Schmidt). They were married for 27 years and had five children together. Father of Son, Mark Mabus, his wife Stephanie of Chicago: Son, Michael Mabus, his wife Angela with Grandchildren Josh, Nicole, Amber and Matt of Chicago: Daughter Kimberly (Mabus) Shirahama, her husband Mark with Grandchildren Anthony, Ashlee, Daniel and Michael of Hoffman Estates: Daughter Karyn Mabus of Chicago: Son Steven Mabus his wife Sandra with Grandchildren Jake and Jennifer of Mt. Prospect: "Jerry" was a long time employee of Teletype Corp before retiring and pursuing his 30 year real estate career. He had a passion for the art of bonsai and was regarded for his animated story telling.
