Farewell to my old friend, George, who I had breakfast with almost daily during the '60's, 70's, and 80's. It was a fun time...knowing Gus, Tina, Billy, Chrissie, and Helen. My condolences to a fine family

Dearest Helen, Dean, Steven, Billy and the entire Assimos family,
Our hearts are broken to learn of the passing of George. We cannot always measure the effect that a person's goodness has had on the world, but in the case of George Assimos, we can measure the effect of the goodness that knowing and being touched by George Assimos has had on the lives of the entire Gorgal family - and it has been far reaching and deeply touching. The smile and kindness of George will live in our hearts and minds forever. Al and my entire family have all of your family in our prayers as we know this is a time of great sorrow. We know that George is in the loving arms of Our Father, but we pray that you all will find strength and courage in your faith and in the comfort of knowing and loving this extraordinary man that God so graciously shared with all of us.
With deepest sympathy,
Denise and Albert Giannotti
