Marion
July 13, 2020
Fr Fred was beloved by the nursing staff for the days he worked at Loyola. He was such a gentle spirit. Families knew they could trust their loved ones with Father. He also gave great homilies at Mass; one I remember vividly to this day. He was also a diplomat: I was very pregnant with my first child and Fr Fred never wanted to make anyone uncomfortable. Instead of assuming I was pregnant and not just getting fat he asked "Marion is there any good news you would like to share with me?" What a lovely question from a lovely man.
