Gabiner, Fred age 77; Passed away Saturday, January 17, 2004. Beloved son of the late Jack and Flora (nee Kornblith) Gabiner; dear brother of Seymour (Edith) Gabiner; cherished uncle of Janice (Jeffrey) Smith, Marla (Charles) Alexander, Layne (Carol) Gabiner, Jared (Karen) Gabiner; loving great uncle to Suzanne Smith, Laura (Ian) Cohen, Jessica and Adam Alexander; proud great, great uncle to Evan Cohen. Retired from Bankers Life and Casualty Insurance Company. Fred was a quiet, kind, gentle man, very devoted to his mother and loved his family dearly. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family. Graveside services Wednesday, 1 p.m. Ticktin Cemetery, Gate #58 (Jewish Waldheim), Des Plaines Avenue, Forest Park.
