My condolences to Ernest´s daughter, brothers and extended family. I´ll always remember our years at St Rita´s School and then after many years connecting via Facebook, enjoying his photos of his travels and great meals that I vicariously enjoyed through him. Rest In Peace in the joy of Heaven, Ernie. You are in a much better place and free of pain. You will be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. He was a vivacious and kindhearted man who made me feel welcome by the family I didn't get to know as a kid. He took care of my father in need and gave my father such respect at the end of my dad's life. I will never forget. Take care of yourself, Nina. Your father would want that. There's no replacing him, but it was a life well lived and he's gone on to better things no doubt.

I met Ernie in the 70's at the apartment building we both lived in. He was very out going and had a wonderful full of life personality. We have remained friends for all of these years, and he will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful father to Nina, and loved her dearly. My condolences to both Nina and Marita and his entire family. He will be missed by all.

I am deeply saddened and shocked over the recent loss of Ernie. I met Ernie over 36 years ago and we had been very close friends. Ernie had so much enthusiasm for life and
was a talented chef and music
affeciano. We had spent so much

Our sincere condolences to Nina. We remember with great fondness the many wonderful evenings of fine conversations and excellent meals with Ernie at his house in River Forest. It was also a delight when we were entertained with your fine piano playing, Nina. Your dad loved you with all of his heart. Please pass on our condolences to your mother. She was a good wife to Ernie.
