Erica it has been a year it still feels like yesterday.Feather called us and checked on us.I miss you so much.I think of you daily and sometimes catch myself thinking what if.

Erica, i miss you so much! Everyday i wonder why God took you away from us. i know we didnt know each other for a long time, but the short time we had was awesome. we always had a good time together. i loved you as if you were my sister. and i still do. i miss you so much!

I was so saddened and shocked to see the obituary for your beautiful girl. I remember how excited Linda was when she was born. I lost my son recently. I wish that I could help you deal with this incredible pain. It has been almost 9 months now - I don't cry every day anymore.



I don't feel as guilty as I used to because I have finally allowed myself to accept that God is truly in control of life - we dont' have nearly as much power or control as we like to think. We can't change what is to happen. We are also too human to understand it.



I read that 1,000 years is like a day to God - it won't really be so long til we can be with our precious children.



I pray every day for your comfort and peace and the repose of Erika's soul.



God does know the plans He has for us.

Every student makes an impact on a class and on a teacher. I was very sad that you would no longer be with us in fifth period. Your absence is palpable. More so the world feels the loss because you are no longer here. My condolences to your family and loved ones. For as much as I enjoyed having you in class these four months and as sad as I am, I know their hearts are broken.

To the family and friends left behind, we don't always understand why God takes the young from us, God doesn't always pick the Rose that has come into full bloom, but often takes the precious Rosebuds, to care for and protect as the Rosebud becomes a beautiful full bloom. She will be the beauty that awaits the rest of us in Heaven.

Erica was a special somebody. She always made me laugh, smile, and she helped me through some things. I will always miss her and think about her. She is deep in my heart. She means more to me than anyone. She will always be my Benji Boo(her nickname). I pray that her parents get through this whole thing. I wish I knew what she was thinking but i guess i never will. You were in my homeroom, I never knew you but you always had a smile on your face that just drew me in. This wednesday in homeroom I guarantee I'll miss your smile, but I promise I'll smile 1,000 times for you and then some. You should have tried out for cheerleading, you would've enjoyed it alot I'm positive. I really wish you could have stayed with us, but God had other plans.
