Melkovitz, Deacon Emil L. age 90, beloved husband of the late Virginia, devoted father of Thomas, Anna Marie (Marion) Synowiec, Christopher (Barb) and Richard (Lois), loving grandfather of Dr. Kelly (Bill) Synowiec-Moroney, Amy Synowiec, Gayle (Kevin) Peneschi, Emily, Neil, Jack and Mary, great-grandfather of Chloee Moroney and Liam Moroney, fond brother of the late Virginia Cerniglia, Louise Nemenoff and George, loving uncle of Darlene (Dominick) Mangano and Peggy. Funeral service Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Francis Borgia Church, 8033 W. Addison St. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m., at St. Francis Borgia Church. Ordained Deacon May 23, 1976, who faithfully, served St. Francis Borgia Church for 25 years. One of the Founders of the Children of the Sacred Heart Prayer Group. 773-625-3444.
